Cryptify - Secure your messages
Cryptify is a free Chrome add-on that allows you to secure your private messages with end-to-end encryption on any chat service. By utilizing the Diffie-Hellman key exchange and AES-256 encryption, your messages will be stored on the chat service's database as ciphertext, ensuring only you and your partner can decrypt them.
To get started, both you and your chat partner need to have the Cryptify plugin installed. Once installed, simply right-click on a chat message input and select "Cryptify -> Start secret conversation". You will be prompted to enter your partner's conversation name to differentiate between multiple chat partners.
Once the conversation is initiated, the encrypted output will be automatically pasted into the chat input. If it doesn't appear, you can manually paste it. Your partner, if they haven't used Cryptify before, will need to right-click on the received message and select "Cryptify -> Scan current page" to initialize the plugin. They will then be prompted to accept and name the conversation partner (you). After that, they can simply paste the output into the chat input and send it back to you.
Using Cryptify is straightforward. Type your message as usual in the chat message box, then select the text and right-click to choose "Cryptify -> Cryptify". Your message will be replaced with the encrypted version. Don't worry if you don't see any visible change, as the text is auto-decrypted for you to read. Your encrypted message will be automatically decrypted for your partner, so you only need to manually encrypt the messages.
